The ride from Philadelphia to Baltimore was an adventure.  Lancaster Avenue (Route 30)  became increasingly rural.  But pockets of subdivision sprawl were spreading into this area short of Amish country.  The scenery in Amish country was exquisite.  The route I took into Baltimore was surpisingly rural.
