After volunteering as a marshal at Bike DC, I commenced my return trip to Connecticut. Rode  through D.C. Stopped in downtown Takoma Park to ship a package and make one last stop at Takoma Park Food Coop, Then it started to rain. on my way to University of Maryland, College Park campus I came across a traffic-choked strip mall section of Takoma Park.  Rode to Baltimore on US 1 and a few isolated side roads. In Baltimore, Ruthie Nuhn drove me out to Catonsville to her friends for dinner.
